QUESTION:

ustadz permission to ask,

“Anyone who has space (Rizki) and does not have sacrifice, then don’t approach our place of prayer.” (Hours. Ibn Majah no. 3123.)

What do you mean by Rizki in the hadith above what kind of cleric? Are there restrictions or Nisab like zakat?

ANSWER

Wa’alaikumussalam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh

According to the majority of scholars there is no special measure about it because there is no explanation in the hadith. The important thing is he is able to buy sacrificial animals, while Abu Hanifah said that if wealth reaches nishab, that is what must be sacrificial. There is also a majority saying sunnah.

Imam Ash Shan’ani said about the meaning of ‘free (sa’ah) “:

There is no explanation of its size, it seems that the intention is who has full property to buy sacrificial animals, there is also Hanafiyah saying: Having wealth reaches nishab. (In tward syloop al almghir, volume. 371)

Imam Abul Hasan As Sindi said:

(Capacity) ie in money and situations. It is said that it is the owner of the zakat quorum

(Field), namely the wealth and conditions. It is also said he already has property that reaches nishab.
