Knowing the name of Allah “Al-Muhaimin”

Indeed, God created creatures and made it from absence, and conquered them to them in heaven and on earth, so they would know him and obey him. Therefore, the busyness of a servant in knowing the name and attributes of God is the doubt of his creation. While turning and throwing away it is a form of neglect of the goals created. Not feasible for a servant – who has been filled with so many priorities and help by God – becomes a lack of knowledge (stupid) to His Rabb and turn away from knowing Him Ta’ala. [1]

In this paper, we will together know one of the names of the great God, namely Al-Muhaimin. This name contains the meaning of supervision, care, and testimony of all his creatures, and brings important lessons to each servant in building common sense Muraqabah and sincerity. Hopefully this discussion will be the cause of increasing faith, submission, and ihsan in our worship to God Story.

The name of Allah “Al-Muhaimin”

Number Al-Muhaimin mentioned once in God’s Word Tap,

Believers are the only

“Al-Mu’in, Al-Muhaimin.” (Surah Al-Hasyr: 23)

God also mentioned the meaning of this name in His Word,

And we send writers to you with truth, believe in books and dominate them

“And we have sent you al-Kitab (al-Qur’an) with the truth, leaving the previous books and as the guard.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah: 48) [2]

Fill in the meaning of the name of Allah “Al-Muhaimin”

To find out the contents of God’s name completely, we need to know the meaning of the word first “Al-Muhaimin” language, then in its context as the name of God Story.

The meaning of language from “Al-Muhaimin”

Al-Muhaimin is a form Ism Fā’il (Plaku) From the word (Heyn – Yahiman – Himinah) Haymaa – Yhaimima – Pancreas. In language, words Al-Haymanah means watching and maintaining something. [3]

Furthermore, at Oral Al-‘AabIbn Manzur said,

And in the fifth word of words: Ibn Abbas said the person who was a person who was a person who was a person who was the sophistication of the object, and Abu Ma’asher and his concern told him with the meaning and basement to him, and said: Standing on a book.

“There are five scholars’ opinions about meaning Al-muhaimin,

1) Ibn ‘Abbas says: Al-Muhaimin is Al-Mu’taman (trusted).

2) Al-Kisā’ī says: Al-Muhaimin is Ash-syahīd (who witnessed).

3) Other scholars say: Al-Muhaimin is Ar-Raqib (who oversees), as in the phrase “Haymana Yuhayminu Haymanah” – means watching something.

4) Abu Ma’syar interpreted Muhaiman ‘Alayh as Tabby `alaih (who weigh or decide on it).

5) There are also those who interpret Al-Muhaimin as Qāiim (which preserves and stores books). ” [4]

Ibn Fāris Rahimahullah say,

The person who is the person who is a witness … from the security door, and the disturbance is premature

“Al-Muhaimin Meaningful witness (Ash-syahīd), comes from the root of the word A-mi-on. Letter Ha’ in it is a substitute form of Hamzah. ” [5]

Meaning “Al-Muhaimin” In the context of God

Ibn Kathir Rahimahullah said in his interpretation,

And the saying: {People who are the only} Ibn Abbas said the opposite: Namely, witnesses created with their work, in the sense: in all of them martyrs} [الْبُرُوجِ: 9] And he said: “Then God is a martyr on what they do} [يُونُسَ: 46] .

And he said: {Who is he who stands on every same thing? [الرَّعْدِ: 33] .

“The meaning of the word {Al-muhaimin} As said by Ibn ‘Abbas and many other scholars, who saw the actions of his servants. This means that people are watching them, as in their Words (which means), ‘And Allah is the person who sees everything.‘(Surah Al-Buruj: 9); rubbish binThen Allah is a witness of what they do.‘(QS. Yunus: 46); ‘So is he who watched every soul of what he did?‘(Surah Ar-Ra’d: 33) ” [6]

Ash-Shaykh ‘Abdur Razzaq Al-Badr Hafidzahullah explain about the meaning of this name by saying,

And the meaning of «dominant), which means: people who are familiar with the secrets of the problem, and the hiding place of breasts, who surround everything with knowledge, witnesses of creation with their actions are censorship of them in what they are issued by saying or verb, there is nothing from their actions, and there is no singing of an atom on earth or verb.

“Meaning Al-Muhaimin It is the Essence who knows perfectly the secrets of the case and the whisper of the heart, whose knowledge includes everything. He is a witness to all His creatures, supervisors for whatever comes out of them, both speech and deeds. None of their actions are hidden from Him, even as big as Dzarrah Even on earth or in the sky will not escape Him. ” [7]

A believer is obliged to believe that among the names of the names of God the best is Al-muhaimin; And adjust the meaning of the name. Lord Ta’ala is a witness to all His creatures to everything that comes out of them, both in the form of words and deeds. None of their charity hidden from Him. God has absolute perfection in this case; He did not get lost, did not forget, and was not negligent. As His Word,

And God, in the absence of what you do

“And Allah is not negligent about what you do.” (Surah Al-Baqarah: 74) [8]

Foster taste Muraqabah as well as fear and hope for him

Among the fruits of faith with a noble name Al-Muhaimin is the growth of awareness of God’s perfect supervision. Because this name includes the meaning of a witness, supervisor, and regulator of everything, a servant should feel afraid and hopes to Him in all circumstances. Because he was the one who witnessed the secrets and whispers of the heart, both in the world and the hereafter. [9]

Ask for verbal treatment, limbs, and whispers

Whoever knows that God knows himself, sees him, and watching him perfectly, then it will produce oral guard, limb, and whisper of all things that are not assisted by God. He will try to direct all parts of himself only to things that are loved and blessed by God Ta’ala. [10]
