Knowing the name of Allah “Al-Khabiir”

Knowing the names of God is one of the main things that can strengthen faith and piety. The more a servant knows the attributes of his God, the more afraid he is active, the more sincere he is training, and the greater the hope of God’s grace. Among the names of the big names Al-Khabīr -A division that knows all human infidelity, both are visible or hidden.

In this article, we will review three main things: the arguments of the Qur’an that mention the name Al-khabīr, Explanation of the content of its meaning according to the scholars, as well as important consequences that must be instilled in every servant – namely awareness of God’s supervision, increasing piety in every circumstance, and sincerity in charity even though not seen by humans.

The name of Allah “Al-Khabiir”

Number Al-Khabīr mentioned in the Qur’an 45 times, including:

the word of God Tap,

And God has the teachings of heaven and earth, and God is what you do.

“And the property of Allah is the legacy of all people in heaven and on earth, and God knows everything you do.“ (Surah Ali ‘Imran: 180)

His Word,

Scientists who are not visible and testimony, who are wise people, experts

“(He) who knows supernatural and real, and he is all wise, Knowing in depth.“ (Surah Al-Come: 73)

His Word,

God, with His servants, is a visible expert

“Surely Allah Everything-knowing the situation of the servant The highest.“(Surah Fāṭir: 31)

His Word,

God with one day for an expert

“Indeed their Lord on that day All -who know their condition.“(Surah Al-‘ādiyāt: 11) [1]

Fill in the meaning of the name of Allah “Al-Khabiir”

To find out the contents of God’s name completely, we need to know the meaning of the word first “Al-Khabiir” language, then in its context as the name of God Story.

The meaning of language from “Al-Khabiir”

Say Al-Khabīr (Expert) is a form of ṣifah Musyabbahah (the nature that shows a fixed or completed meaning) from the verb Khabara – Yakhburu (News – Inform) which means knowing. [2]

Ibn Faris Rahimahullah say,

Rest, epidemic, and descendants:

“KH ‘, BA’, And day ‘. This word has two roots of meaning: (1) science (knowledge); and (2) softness, flexibility, and breadth. ” [3]

Meaning “Al-Khabiir” In the context of God

Ibn Jarir Ath-Thabari Rahimahullah When interpreting the word of God, (Knowledgeable expert)he said,

Who know the waiters; And the pharmacists of their hearts, experts in their affairs; Which is not hidden from him

“Namely, God knows all of His servants and their hearts, all who know, and nothing is hidden from Him.” [4]

Ibn Kathir Rahimahullah say,

And the saying: {from wise and wise experts}, namely: from a wise God in his words, and His decisions, experts in the dignity of people

“The Word of God (which means), ‘From the side of God Almighty All -who know (al-ḥakīm al-khabīr) ‘Meaning: ‘From God’s view, wise people in His Word and Law, and all known problems.’ ” [5]

Sheikh Abdurrahman bin Nashir As-Sa’dī Rahimahullah say,

Sang who knows, Expert: He is a person who surrounds his knowledge of phenomena and phenomena, secrets and advertisements, tasks, impossible and potential, and in the upper and lower world, and in the past, present and future, so that nothing is hidden from him

“Al-‘mm, al-Khabīr It is the Essence whose knowledge includes everything that is visible and hidden, which is confidential and open, which is obligatory, impossible, and possible, covering the upper and lower nature, the past, present, and future-no one is spared at all. ” [6]

Sheikh ‘Abdur Razzāq al-Badr said, “Al-Khabīr Meaning: The Essence who knows in depth in the secrets of the inner, understanding the contents of the hidden heart, knowing the seeds hidden in the ground, very soft and smooth affairs, and very small particles. So this name includes knowledge about things that are very hidden and very small, and of course even more so about things that are visible and big. ” [7]

The consequences of the name of Allah “Al-Khabiir” For servants

Name determination “Al-Khabiir” For Allah Story Has many consequences, both in terms of nature and dismissal of God, as well as from the servant side. Here are some consequences in terms of servant:

Believe that Al-Khabīr is one of Asmaul Husna

Namely that Allah knows all the hidden and invisible matters, all of you know what has happened and what will happen, none of them escapes His knowledge, even though it is very small and smooth. This trait belongs only to Allah, none of His creatures that match Him. [8]

Afraid of God and practicing what he likes

Surely Allah Sub myānu by taālāl is Al-KhabīrAll the actions and speeches of the waiters, and what fought in their hearts is good and bad. Lord Story said,

And your Lord is enough for the sins of his worshipers as a visionary expert.

“And enough from your Lord as people who know the sins of His servants and all-looking.” (Surah Al-Isrā ‘: 17)

Therefore, God ordered us to fear Him, do what He loves, and stay away from everything that makes Him angry. Allah Story said,

And if you increase and fear, then God is what you do as an expert.

“If you do good and fear, then God is all -know what you do.” (Surah An-Nisā ‘: 128)

And the Word,

Afraid of God, that God is an expert in what you do

“Fear God, of course Allah knows what you are doing.” (Surah Al-ḥasyr: 18) [9]

Warns to avoid acting on him

The word of God,

And if they are tired or open, then God is what you do as an expert.

“And if you turn back (testimony) or turn away (do not give testimony), then indeed Allah knows what you are doing.” (Surah An-Nisā ‘: 135)

This verse is a reminder of crime, especially in the context of not upholding that testimony fairly, called ‘turn back (testimony)‘, or hide it even though it is needed, which is called’turn around (not giving testimony)‘. Then came a warning with his words,

Because God is what you do as an expert

“Verily, Allah knows what you are doing”Meaning: God knows when you do not uphold the testimony, turn the truth, or turn away from him by hiding, and everything is recorded by God to be appreciated on the day of retaliation. So afraid of your Rabb in this business. [10]

Observe God and His Messenger

Among the fruits who believe in the name of Allah Al-Khabiir It is a servant to obey God and his messengers, and this is the peak of worship. God said,

… So emphasize prayers and pay zakat and obey God and his messengers, and God is an expert. What’s your occupation

“… then prepare prayers, do zakat, and obey Allah and his messengers. And Allah knows what you are doing.“(QS. An-Nūr: 56) [11]

May Allah give us his gratitude, to always maintain charity and intention, because nothing is hidden from his knowledge. Amen.
