How did the Messenger of Allah laugh? This is the laugh exemplified by the Prophet

Laughter is one of the usual human qualities to express happiness, intimacy, and such as. Everyone must have laughed, including the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. He also smiled, laughed, even joking. Then how he laughed sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam?

As a Muslim, of course the Messenger of Allah is an individual that we make an example in every circumstance. Before we discuss how the laughter of the Prophet, we first discussed whether there were certain guidance or rules in Islam about laughing? In Islam, of course there are some things we need to pay attention to in laughing, including:

Don’t laugh too much

Too much laughter will turn off the heart, as the Prophet said sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam,

And the laughter did not multiply, because laughter died.

“Don’t laugh too much. (HR. Tirmidzi)

Don’t laugh at things that are not the place

Laughter must be in place not to laugh in time and inappropriate places to laugh. Allah Story tell the infidels who laugh at the news about the end of the day,

And laugh, and don’t cry

“You guys laugh and you don’t cry over ().” (QS. An-Najm: 60)

Do not laugh at the things that are associated in Islam

Do not let us laugh at the cases that are stated in Islam, such as the Shari’a, the Qur’an, the Apostle, and Seemalnya; Because this is not a laughing stock and joke. Laughing with this can also be fatal even to issue Islam. Allah Story said,

God, his mother and his messenger, you are ridiculed, you don’t apologize

“Are you with His verse and the Messenger of Messenger? Do not apologize, because you are infidel after faith.” (QS. At-Taubah: 64-65)

The laughter of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam

After we know some of the etiquette that needs to be considered when laughing, then how is the laughing of the Prophet? Sheikh Abdurrazaq bin Abdul Muhsin mentioned in the book Prophet Syarah Syamail,

He is a gift to laugh in the middle of all his affairs, all laughing at a smile, and if he laughs in a voice that is not laughing, but the voice he hears a relative without the far

“As for the habit of the Prophet when laughing is the middle as in all his affairs. Most laughing he is by smiling. If he laughs with a voice, then not with a sound of laughter, but in a voice that can be heard by close people, not by distant people.”

Rasulullah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Is a cheap smile and the majority of laughter he is by smiling. However, he did not laugh until he burst out laughing. Among the hadiths that say he often smiles is,

I have not seen people who smile more than God’s messenger, hopefully God’s prayers and peace are on it

“I have never seen the person who smiled the most besides the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. ” (Tirmidzi Clock)

Also the Hadith of Jarir bin Abdullah, he said,

God’s messenger, may God give him up and give him peace, not hold me since I converted to Islam, and he did not see me other than laughter

“Nobody stopped me from the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Since I converted to Islam. He didn’t see me unless he laughed (smiling). “(Tirmidzi Clock)

From the hadiths above, we can conclude that the Messenger of Allah is a smiling person. Sheikh Abdurrazaq bin Abdul Muhsin said,

There is a frequent smile statement from God’s messenger.

“In it there is an explanation of the number of Rasulullah smiling. Indeed, it is because of the perfection of morals,tawadhu’-An, and good in relation to humans. He always meets people with a bright and friendly face with a smile. “

Therefore, we as Muslims should also imitate him sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. A cheap smiling Muslim. Do not let us be known as a scary person, rarely smile, and not friendly; Even though the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam –Which is a model human being for Muslims- is a smile that is smiling.

Smiling also enlivening practice as the hadith of Abu Dzar Radiyallahu ‘anhu, Rasulullah Alaihi wa sallam say,

Your name is on your brother’s face

“Smiling yourself in front of your brother is a charity for you.” (Tirmidzi Clock)

Besides laughing in a smile, the Messenger of Allah also sometimes laughs not just smiling. He once laughed until he could see his molars in some circumstances. This is as in a hadith narrated by Abu Dzar Radhiyallahu ‘anhuRasulullah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say,

I teach the last people of Paradise to enter paradise and the last of the people of hell, from which a man brings to him on the day of resurrection, so he said, show Him Young Sins and Raise His Elders, So His Young Sins are offered to I worked on such and such and such and such and that he says yes he cannot deny and he is a compassion of his sins. God, I have done things that I don’t see here. I see God’s messengers, may God give him up and give him peace, laugh until I look at him

“Indeed, I know the last inhabitants and hell people are the last time, a man who came on the day of judgment (behind Rabb), and told him, ‘to him his little sins and to eliminate his big sins.’ Then the sin is taken.

He could not deny it and he asked for mercy from his big sin to be expressed. Then it was said to him, ‘Indeed you find a place that does not exist.’ Then he said, ‘O my Lord, I have done something that I did not see in the note of charity here.’

Abu Dzar said, “I saw the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Laughing until he looks molars. ” (HR. Muslim)

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam The hadith above is because He appreciates the greatness and grace of God who gives love to His servants.

That’s a glimpse of how he sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam laugh. His face always smiles when meeting others. He also laughed until he could see his molars on certain reasons that were favored.
