In this life, there is no human being from mistakes. Whether a big or small, intentional or not, each of us must have slipped. However, the difference is the courage to admit mistakes and honesty in fixing it.
Allah Story said,
More precisely, humans, in his soul
“Even humans are witnesses to themselves, even though he put forward his reasons.” (Surah Al-Qiyamah: 14-15)
The above verse is an important capital to interact with ourselves, because as others have shortcomings, we also have shortcomings.
The above verse can also remind us that no one knows better about ourselves, other than ourselves. Maybe we can argue in front of humans, arrange words that sound reasonable, or wrap mistakes with a thousand reasons. But, what about when in front of our own conscience? We know, we realize, we understand, that there is something wrong.
What we should do is dare to be honest, both to ourselves, honest with God, or honest with others. People who have the nature of honest, acknowledge, and improve their mistakes, will make his life lucky and safe.
Allah Story said,
He has succeeded in who he recommended
“Indeed, people who purify (improve) souls.” (QS. Asy-Syams: 9)
Acknowledge more honorable mistakes
Recognizing mistakes is not a sign of weakness, that is precisely the peak of honor. People who dare to say “I’m wrong” are showing the strength and courage of his soul. He was not humiliating himself, but was raising his degree before humans and even more so, before God Tax.
Because what is truly noble is not those who are never wrong; But those who when wrong, they honestly admit it and sincerely fix it.
Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam say,
All Adam’s sons are sin and the best of sinners.
“Every Adam’s son must do something wrong and the best of the perpetrators of the error is the person who repent.” (Tirmidzi Hours No. 2499, Sahih al-Targhib NO. 3139)
In another history,
You have an honest, because the truth is guided for the truth, and the truth guides to heaven, and what is still a person is the truth of your friends and you and you and the liar, for the liar guide for vigilance, and the guide is on guard for fires, and humans are still lies. God is a liar
“Let you always be honest, because in fact honesty will deliver to goodness, and in fact goodness will lead to heaven. If someone is always acting honest Liars. ” (HR. Muslim)

Not acknowledging mistakes is the evil legacy of the devil and the people of Lut
Devil Story
When the devil made a mistake by rejecting Allah’s command Story To submit to Adam, not to admit mistakes, but he even fought and denied for various reasons. This is what God said in His Words,
He said, Obli, what prevented you prostrates on what I made in my hands, you are arrogant, or you are among the calves (75), he said: I am one of his good clay
“O Devil! What prevents you to submit to what I have made with my two hands? Are you proud or are you (feel) people? (QS. Shaad: 75-76)
The story of Lut of the Prophet
Allah Story said,
And when he said to his people, you will come to the obscene from what I have mentioned by one of the fatigue world people (81) and the opponents of their people unless they say that they will bring them out of your village
“And (we have also sent) Lut (to the people). Fahisyah (disgusting), that has never been done by anyone (in this world) in front of you? ‘
In fact you come to men to vent your lust (to them), not to women, instead you are the people who transcend the limits.
People answer nothing more than saying, ‘They (Lut and his followers) from this city, indeed, they are people who pretend to purify themselves.’ ‘(Surah Al-A’raaf: 80-82)
From the above verse, when the Prophet Lut was reprimanded for their mistakes, they even answered by expelling the Prophet Lut and his followers and told the Prophet Lut that he was a saints.
Learn to admit the mistakes of the prophets
The noble person is when he was given Taufik to admit his sin and mistakes. As recognition by our two ancestors, the Prophet Adam and his wife Eve, when they eat fruit (Khuldi: eternity),
Our Lord said, “We have been forgotten, and if you forgive us, and may God be compassionate to us.
“Both say, “O our Lord, we have treated ourselves, and if you do not forgive us and give us mercy, we must be among those who lose.” (Surah Al-A’raf: 23)
This is what Moses did when he accidentally killed a man from Qibthi,
My master said that I was harmed by my soul, and forgive me and forgives him ۥ ۚ he is a forgiveness
“Moses pray, “O my Lord, in fact I have persecuted myself; Because of that, forgive me.” God forgives him. Indeed, God is the most forgiven, which is full of mercy. “(Surah Al-Qashash: 16)
Imagine if in this world everyone can say, “Sorry, I’m wrong.”
Imagine how many wounds will heal, how many relationships will recover, and how peacefully the heart is free from the burden of pretending to be true.
Let us learn not to point too quickly to the fingers, and more often direct the index finger to ourselves. Because like other people have shortcomings, we too. And only people who are honest in their shortcomings will really grow for the better.
May Allah guide us to be a humble servant, honestly admit mistakes, and always be ready to improve. Amen.
