Islam strongly emphasizes its people to make a living, especially men (husband). In fact, it is the obligation of syar’i and glory for him. However, a living is not just any living that does not care about halal or haram.

At the end of time like now, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has predicted that the time humans will come to not care anymore about halal and illicit income.

For the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be happy with Him, for the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace with him.

From Abu Hurairah Radhiallahu’anhu from the Prophet ﷺ said, “There will come an age in humans who at that time a person no longer cares about what he gets whether from halal or haram goods”. (HR. Bukhari No. 2059)

So make sure and try: food, drinks, clothing, residence, vehicles, medicines, entertainment, live support equipment, and whatever we use comes from halal both substances, types, and sources of acquisition.

Then, what is the dangers of property or illicit income for a Muslim and his life? This danger can be felt in the world before the hereafter. Here are a few examples, including:

Refused his prayer

Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu tells:

Then he mentioned the person to extend the journey, the most dusty, stretched out his hand to the sky: Oh my God! Oh Lord! And his stomach is prohibited, and the drinks are prohibited, and his clothes are prohibited, and my eating is prohibited, so I responded to him?

Then he (the messenger of God) states that someone travels far in a tangled and dusty state. He raised his hand to the sky and said: “My master, my Lord,” but the food is illegal, the drink is illegal, the clothes are illegal and the wrinkles are filled with something illegal, then (if so) how the prayer will be given. (HR. Muslim No. 1015)

Although the man has collected various reasons for the granted of prayer such as: safar, raising both hands, repeating prayers, but all of that has no effect when it is scattered by his behavior to praise all his needs from the haram.

Damaging self -respect

Anyone who is afraid of suspicion, it has been given to his religion and illness

Anyone who avoids vague (syubhat) he has taken care of his religion and honor. (HR. Muttafaq ‘alaih)

Implicitly, this hadith shows that when someone falls on the Syabhat problem, his dignity is illegal.

The threat of hell to the culprit

Rasulullah (may peace on it) said:

Every flesh and blood that we have given

Every flesh and blood that grows from illegal sources, hell is more valuable. (HR. Ath Thabarani, Al Mu’jam Al Kabir No. 361, Sahih)

Special dangers related to the type of behavior

Riba: Allah Ta’ala declares war to the perpetrators (QS. Al Baqarah: 279), eliminating his blessings (Surah Al Baqarah: 276), like his own mother (Al Baihaqi, Al Hakim), brought disaster to the country. (HR. Al Baihaqi

Risywah: Allah cursed both the perpetrators, recipients, and intermediaries (HR. Ahmad)

Khamr: Prayer was rejected 40 days, in hell revealed Radaghah Al Khabal (Sweat Hell) and Thinatul Khabal (Hell). (Clock Abu David)

Eat orphanage: torture of hell (QS. An Nisa: 10)

May Allah Ta’ala give us adequacy from a legal source and keep us from wealth and illegal production.
