Fear of shirk

Bismillah.

Among the very important chapters in the discussion of monotheism is the obligation to be a Muslim feeling afraid of falling into the actions or beliefs of shirk. This has been outlined by Sheikh Muhammad At-Tamimi Rahimahullah in the Monotheism-ITS in BAB Al-Khouf Maltiy Syirki; Afraid Shirk.

This is not a matter of time, being a priest from a classmate of the Prophet Ibrahim ‘Greetings alaihis Even praying to God not to worship idols. Lord Story said,

And when Abraham said, God, made this country safe and gave me and built me ​​to worship idols

“And (Ibrahim said), ‘Keep me and my descendants from worshiping statues/idols …’ ‘ (Surah Ibrahim: 35)

Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Utssaimin Rahimahullah said, “Ibrahim ‘Greetings alaihis Even worried about shirk befalling him, even though he is the lover of Ar-Rahman and his priests who are hanif (tauhid). Then what do you think of people like us?! So do not feel safe from the dangers of shirk. Don’t feel you are free from hypocrisy. Because it does not feel safe from hypocrisy except hypocrites. And not feel afraid of hypocrisy except the believer. ” (Look Al-Qaul Al-Mufid ‘Ala Book at-Tauhid, 1: 72; cet. Maktabah al-‘ilmu)

Thus the nature of the pious person; He was worried that he was hit by bad. As revealed by Hudzaifah Ibnul Yemen’s best friend Radhiyallahu ‘anhu, “Ordinary people ask the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam about goodness. While I asked him about evil, because I was worried if I fell into it.” (Look Hasyiyah Book of Tauhidmatter. 48)

Sheikh Muhammad At-Tamimi Rahimahullah In his very famous brochure Tsalatsah Al-iushul has explained that the greatest command from God is monotheism, while God’s greatest prohibition is shirk. Allah Story said,

And worship God and don’t share anything with Him

“And worship God, and don’t hang out with him.” (Surah An-Nisa ‘: 36)

Previously, inside MonotheismThe Sheikh At-Tamimi also brought another argument from the Qur’an which showed its obligatory to feel afraid of the dangers of shirk. Allah Story said,

God did not forgive that He would be involved in it and forgive what was without who he was the will

“Indeed, God will not forgive the syirk’s sin to Him and will forgive the other sins under him for whom he is the will.” (Surah An-Nisa ‘: 48)

Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say, “The biggest sin is that you managed to reach the ally of God (as a match), but he is the only one who created you.” (HR. Bukhari and Muslim)

People who do shirk, then he has damaged his worship and faith. Sheikh Muhammad At-Tamimi Rahimahullah in the Al-Qawa’id Al-Arba ‘ confirm, “Worship is not referred to as worship except when it is accompanied by monotheism. When the syirk disturbs worship must destroy it as a hadat that disturbs Thaharah (purification) …”

Allah Story said,

And I have been revealed to you and to those who are in front of you, if you have been blessed, and you will like your job, and you will be the losing

“Revealed to you and the people in front of you, ‘When you do shirk, it must be lost all your actions and you will really be a losing person.” (Surah Az-Zumar: 65)

Among the reasons that require us to be vigilant and worry about falling into shirk is because among the forms of shirk there are vague or hidden.

One of the senior scholars in Madinah Sheikh Salih bin Sa’ad As-Suhaimi Hafizhahullah in the ITHAF AL-KIRAM AL-RARAH BI SYARHI NAWAQIDH AL-WESLAM AL-AASYARAH Explain, “Shirk is the biggest sin from other forms of non -compliance to other God. This is more blurred in our view than previously creeping ants in darkness on black stones. Therefore, we must be aware of Shirk. Moreover, it has spread widely since the fourth century of the Hijri.

You can find in many Muslim states that are worshiped, graves and nadzar are presented for their residents, offering massacres for them as allies to God. The oath was also mentioned by mentioning their names of large reasons with trust when the situation was blocked and difficulty hitting. “

Shirk is a series of tyranny that causes peace and fading guidance. Shirk is referred to as injustice because the culprit has directed worship at something that is not entitled to it. Is there any injustice that is heavier than those who do worship to God? Lord Story said,

Crimes are great injustice

“Indeed, Shirk is truly a very large cruelty.” (QS. Luqman: 13)

Allah Story said,

Say: I am only a human like you, but God is one of your Lord

“Tell me, ‘Indeed, I am a human who gives me a revelation, that you are just a Mahaaa. (Surah Al-Kahfi: 110)
