Does Accusing Zina Mean Divorce?

Wa’alaikumussalam wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh

Accusing of adultery without evidence and witnesses is fasiq. But that is not the cause of divorce.

{And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses, they will be scourged with eighty lashes, even though they did not receive it. They have an eternal testimony, and they are the ones who transgress.

And those who accuse good women (of adultery) and they do not bring four witnesses, then beat them eighty times, and do not accept their testimony forever. These are the wicked people,[Surat An-Nur: 4]

He should repent and apologize to his wife and not do it again.

{Except those who repent afterwards and atone for their mistakes. For indeed Allah is Forgiving, Most Merciful.}
