Waโalaikumussalam warahmatullah wabarakatuh
Jika alasannya karena safar, tentu sudah tidak boleh karena status musafirnya sudah berakhir sejak sesampainya di wilayahnya sendiri.
Tapi, jika alasannya karena dia mengalami masyaqqah (kesulitan dan kepayahan), repot ketika sampai di rumah, sebagian fuqaha membolehkan jamak. Asalkan hal itu tidak dijadikan kebiasaan.
Imam An Nawawi mengatakan:

โSekelompok para imam, membolehkan jamak ketika tidak bepergian apabila ia memiliki keperluan, namun hal itu tidak dijadikan sebagai kebiasaan. Demikianlah pendapat dari Ibnu Sirin, Asyhab dari golongan Malikiyah. Al Khathabi menceritakan dari Al Qaffal dan Asy Syasyil kabir dari madzhab Syafiโi, dari Abu Ishaq al Marwazi dan dari jamaah ahli hadits. Inilah pendapat yang dipilih oleh Ibnul Mundzir, yang didukung oleh zhahir ucapan Ibnu Abbas, bahwa yang dikehendaki dari jamak adalah โagar umatnya keluar dari kesulitan.โ Karena itu, tidak jelaskan alasan jamak, apakah karena sakit atau yang lainnya.
