A meme is circulating that contains a hadith so that we don’t complain about price increases, just be patient and trust.
The hadith is certainly true, namely that it teaches patience. But patience does not mean being passive and also not being critical. That puts the hadith out of place.
The Koran itself details the characteristics of patient people: not weak, not lethargic, and not remaining silent. (QS. Ali Imran: 146)
On the other hand, the creator of the meme should be able to act fairly and sportingly, don’t just demand that people not complain, but should also remind leaders/rulers with the hadith:
O Allah, whoever is given the responsibility to take care of the affairs of my country and do good to it, then do good to him. And whoever is harsh on him, have mercy on him. Narrated by Muslim
“O Allah, whoever leads/takes care of the affairs of My people, then whoever loves him, then love him.
(HR. Muslim no. 1828)
Don’t let this meme maker look like what Rasulullah described:
If you see my people afraid, do not say to the oppressors, O oppressors, for perhaps you will be spared from them.
If you see that my Ummah is afraid and does not say to the oppressors, “O oppressors,” then Allah will abandon them.

Indeed, advising a leader on wrong policies is one of the important matters in Islam, as per the hadith:
Religion is sincere advice. We say to those who say, “To Allah, to His Book, to His Messenger, to the Imams of the Muslims, and to ordinary people.”
“Religion is advice.” We ask, “Whose advice?” He answered, “By Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and the leaders of the Muslims, as well as ktheir public roar.”

Imam Al Khathabi explained that ADVICE is the pillar and pillar of religion. Rahimahullah commented on the meaning of the hadith:
Meaning of hadith: The pillars of religion and its foundation are advice. As the saying goes: Hajj is Arafat, meaning his baptism and most of it is Arafat.
The meaning of hadith (religion is advice) is: the pillars of religion and its support are advice. This is like the saying: Hajj is ‘Arafah which means pillar and the most important part of Hajj is (Wukuf) in ‘Arafah.”

So, anyone who advises a leader about the wrong policies in a polite, argumentative manner is upholding religion.
On the contrary, always being a defender of wrong policies and strangling with various arguments, no matter whether it is right or wrong, just as long as you defend it, is a forbidden behavior to ingratiate yourself.
The Prophet SAW said:
“Hear, have you heard that there will be princes after me? So whoever enters them and believes their lies and helps them in their oppression, is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to the Fountain.”
“Listen, have you ever heard that after me there will be leaders. Whoever joins them, then confirms their lies and supports their tyranny, then he is not from my group, and I am also not from his group. Nor will he meet me at the well.”
(HR At Tirmidhi no. 2259, An Nasa’i no. 4208, Sahih)

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google.
