Fatwa Shaykh Muhammad Ali Farkus
Question:
Our Shaykh – May Allah take care of you – whether the Prophet’s words ﷺ, “I like this”, including his humanitarian nature or showing the law Syar’i? Like his words ﷺ,
There are no enemies, or birds, and the groans admire me
“There is no ‘adwa (infectious disease by itself), there is no thiyarah (assuming bad luck because of birds, etc.), And I like Fa’lu. “
Friends ask, “What is it Fa’lu? “ He answered,
Good word
“Good sentence.” [1]
In the hadith, “Al-Kalimah Ath-Tayyibah“(Good sentence) consists of two words that use Alif Lam (definitive), this shows meaning Hashr (restrictions). Do we say that Fa’lu only limited to good sentences, or includes other things? Baarakallah fiik.
Answer:
All praise to God, God the universe. Greetings and greetings can be poured out to envoys sent as blessings to the whole world, to their families, friends, and followers until the day of judgment. But father:
Meaning “Yu’jibuni“(I like) in the hadith show that the Prophet ﷺ was happy with Fa’lu Because it is a form of hope for goodness. Expecting goodness is something that is recommended, because Tiyarah (feel unlucky) included Su’uzhan (thought badly) to God, whereas Fa’lu is Husnuzhan (Be careful) to him.
Prophet ﷺ has explained the nature of his humanity and the tendency of human nature who like things that are in accordance with him, as explained by Ibnul Qayyim Rahimahullah. [2] For example, his love for sweet food and honey [3]as in the words,
He loves me from your world
“Make something I love from your world …” (like women and fragrances) [4]
And his favorite voice is beautiful in reading the Qur’an and Azan. In short, he loves all the perfection, kindness, and things that send it.
As for restrictions (Hasr) what the ulama revealed Ushul with a definitive form in both parts – as in the hadith,
It is prohibited by arrogance, and its conversion
“People who forbid it (prayers) are takbir, and those who legalize it (outside prayer) are greetings.” [5]
Because Hasr In this context it occurs in the news (issue). In other words, cannot enter (starting) praying except by takbir, and cannot leave it except with greetings. This is the opinion of scholars, different from Hanafiyah and Zhahiriyah.
The rules: This style of language shows restrictions as long as there is no argument that rejects it. If there are other arguments, then (other propositions) take precedence. However, Zahir Hadith shows generality Fa’lu which includes all words (conditions) that lead to goodness. Fa’lu not limited to “good sentences”, but includes everything that is pleasing and giving good hope, good in the form of:
- Sentence Thayyibah;
- Good name;
- Meet the righteous;
- A good place to visit.
All of this includes Husnuzhan for Allah Tax. This is the reason the Prophet ﷺ likes fa’lu, Because he is part of being kind to Him.
Proof that Fa’lu not limited to “good sentences”:
When Suhail bin ‘Amr came in the Hudaibiyah event to consult with the Prophet, he said,
I will make you easy for you
“Your business is made easier” (because the name “Suhail” means “Easy”). “ [6]
Apparently, that hope was created by the arrival of kindness (Hudaibiyah peace).
And knowledge (true) only exists before Allah Ta’ala. The closing of our prayers is praise to God, the Lord of the universe. May Allah bestow our Prophet Muhammad, his family, his friends, and his followers until the day of judgment.
