God’s great love (bag. 10)

Imagine someone whose life is always given good – given food when hungry, protected when in danger, and loved unconditionally. However, that person actually forgot all the goodness he received, never thanked, even replied with an indifferent attitude. How do we feel if we are in the position of people who have done good?

Now, let’s contemplate. Hasn’t Allah gave us more than what we can count? The air for breathing, a healthy body, adequate fortune, a family that loves – all is evidence of the incourse of God’s love. However, sometimes we forget. We feel all of that we should have, without realizing that it is all a gift from Him.

Then, what if someone not only forgot to be grateful, but also deny God’s love? What are the consequences if the heart starts to feel enough without Him, begin to doubt His grace, or even use His blessings to act? This is what is called Kufr for God’s love – and this is something that is very dangerous.

God has given us so much love. He gives us life, keeps us in every charm, and still provides help even though we often forget it. His mercy is so broad, to the messenger of God (may peace on it) describe it in a hadith,

To God, I am sorry for Him from this child

“God really loves my servant more than this mother to his son.” [1]

Help from help makes the heart difficult and far from God

God is the source of all goodness, but when someone starts to deny His blessings, his heart slowly becomes hard. He became difficult to accept advice, easily complained, and did not feel calm in his life. When a person no longer realizes the magnitude of God’s blessings, his heart will become hard and difficult to accept the truth. Allah said,

And if your master, you won’t be grateful, and you don’t not believe it.

“And (remember) when your master tells,” indeed, if you are grateful, I will add you. However, if you deny it (my help), then my torture is very heavy. ” [2]

What’s wrong is not just about not saying, “Give thanks”; But also when someone uses God’s help to act, forget about worship, and loves the world more than the hereafter. A heart that does not know thanks will be far from God, it is difficult to receive advice, and easily fall into mistakes.

Deny God’s grace can bring despair

One form of kufr for God’s love is to feel that this self is no longer worthy to get His forgiveness. In fact, God himself has promised that His grace is always open to anyone who wants to return. Allah Himself has said,

Say: The servant who have continued to themselves are not imprisoned from God’s grace, that God will forgive all the sins, because He is the one who forgives

“Say (Muhammad), ‘o my servants who go beyond their limits! Don’t give up discouragement for God’s mercy. Indeed, God forgives all sins. [3]

Every human being must have sinned, but God always opens the door to forgiveness. Never think that our sins are too big to be forgiven. God is broader His grace than His servant’s sins. Precisely what is more dangerous is if we feel we no longer need forgiveness.

Distrust of God’s love brings torture in this world and the hereafter

People who continue to deny God’s love, are not grateful, and reject their guidance, in the end will face severe consequences. Allah gives many examples in the Qur’an about people who do not believe it benefits him, such as people from the Army, Tsamud, and Pharaoh. They were given a lot of pleasure, but even arrogant and turned away from God, until they ended. God said,

And God gives examples, for example, which is a safe security, the provisions are given to every place. They make

“And God has made a parable (with) a country that was once peaceful and peaceful, fortune came to him abundantly from all places, but (His people) did not obey God’s assistance. Therefore, God has given them a disaster for starving and fear, for what they do.” [4]

In the hereafter, those who do not believe in God’s love will regret it, but the regret is too late. In the hadith, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam warns his people about the three characteristics of a wretched carrier who can deliver to the abyss of hell,

Don’t you tell you people in heaven? Every weak weakness, if he is divided into God, will not be divided into God’s people? Every time is an arrogant person

From Haritsah bin Wahb Radhiyallahu ‘anhu, He said, “I hear the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Will I tell you who is the inhabitants of heaven? [5]

The punishment of God does not always come in the form of major disasters. Sometimes, God withdrew the blessing in a person’s life – his heart was restless, his family was not harmonious, his fortune was difficult, and happiness away from him.

God’s love is unlimited. He continued to give us the opportunity to change, to return, and to feel the beauty of faith. If we have ever been negligent, if we have ever ignored His blessings, don’t let it drag on. God always opens the door for anyone who wants to return to Him.
