Prayer Prayer When Entering and Out of the House

In Islam, every step of life has guidance and values ​​of worship if lived with true intentions and follow the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Including among the daily routines that do not escape the attention of the Shari’a is when someone exit or enters his house. Hadiths about prayers when entering and leaving the house

There are a number of hadiths and history that explain the prayers of two rak’ahs in the way out and enter the house. Among them are:

Al-Bazzar Di Kasyf Al-Ratar (2: 357)

From Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu ‘anhuProphet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say,

If you enter your house; Separate two rak’ahs that prevent you from a bad entrance, and if you leave home; Separate two rak’ahs

“If you enter your house, then pray for two rak’ahs that will protect you from crime when you enter.

Scholars do not agree on the level of this hadith, which focus their dispute over the two rak’ahs when they enter and leave the house. Some of them weaken it, so they think it is impossible for this prayer; And the rest strengthens it.

This hadith is assessed Hasan by Ibn Hajar as mentioned by Al-Munawi [1]And the sanad is assessed Jayyid (good) by Sheikh al-Albani [2]. Sheikh Muhammad Umar Bazmul also considered this hadith with “Hasan Hasan”. [3] Wallahu a’lam.

Ibn Hibban in this book Al-Ihsan (6: 260)

Told by Ibn Hibban in this book Al-Ihsan (6: 260), from Al-Miqdam bin Syuraih, from his father, from ‘Aisha. That (Syuraiharah said),

“I ask ‘Aisha,’ what is the Normal Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam Do it when you enter your house and when you get out of your house? ‘ He answered,

He started when he entered into yourself, and if he came out, he would kneel

“He started with a whistle when he entered, and if he wanted to get out, he channeled two rak’ahs.” ‘This hadith is assessed “Munkar” by Sheikh al-Albani Rahimahullah. [4]

There are several other hadiths such as, which are inseparable from the talk of the scholars about their weaknesses. Wallahu a’lam. [5]

The virtue of prayers when entering and leaving the house

From the argument above, especially the history of Al-Bazzar, for a Muslim to fulfill two rak’ah prayers when they go out and enter the house. This prayer has many priorities, including:

Avoid bad when exiting or entering the house

This prayer is the cause of the avoidance of someone from bad when going out or entering the house. Al-Munawi Rahimahullah mention, when explaining the hadith mentioned above,

Then he mentioned the wisdom and showed it in the mold of the cause, and he said (whether you prevent you from the way out) to open M and bad (bad) with annexation, which means what will be outside the crime (and if you enter) into (your home separates two rak’ahs that prevent you from bad entries))

“Then it is mentioned the wisdom of this prayer clearly as a cause: ‘who will prevent you from bad when it comes out’ – that is, whatever form of badness that might occur outside the home.

“And if you enter your house, then pray for two rak’ahs that will avoid you from crime when entering it.” [6]

In addition, prayers when going out and have entered this house, including in the category of sunnah prayers, so that they also have many virtues as other sunnah prayers. In various hadiths, the great benefits of this worship are explained, especially as a complement to the lack of compulsory prayers and as a means of getting closer to God Story. From Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu ‘anhuRasulullah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam say,

The first thing to be held accountable for people on the day of the resurrection of their work

“The first practice to be sung on the day of judgment of human practice is prayer.”

He said“God said to His angels-he knows better, ‘Look at my servant prayers, is he completing it or not?’ If it’s perfect, then it is recorded. (Jam Ahmad Dan Ashhabus name; Al-Albani is honored by the history of Abu Dawud [1: 163])

A means to get a high degree in heaven and approach the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam

From Rabi’ah bin Ka’b al-Aaslami Radhiyallahu ‘anhu, Said,

“I spent the night with the Prophet Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam, and I brought water and their needs. He said,’ Ask! ‘I replied,’ I asked to be able to accompany you in heaven. ‘He asked,’ Is there no other request? ‘ I replied, ‘That’s my request.’ So he said, ‘Help myself with a lot of prostration (ie, very much).’ ‘
(HR. Muslim no. 489)

This hadith shows the virtue of increasing the Sunnah Prayer as a means to get a high degree in heaven and approach the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Anyone who wants to achieve that closeness, should increase the sunnah prayer, including prayers when going out and have entered the house.

Procedures for praying when entering and leaving the house

The following are important points about the procedures for praying when they want to go out and have entered the house:

Two light rak’ahs, finished when to exit or enter the house

If a Muslim is about to get out of his house, then it is paid to him to pray for two light rak’ahs. Likewise, if he after entering his house, he should also pray two rak’ahs.

This prayer can be done by prayer must and Sunnah Prayer; Either by (additional) the intention to pray two rak’ahs when entering and leaving the house, or not. In this case, this prayer is like prayer Tahiyyatul Mosque.

Without any pause

If a long pause does not occur between prayer and out of the house, then this prayer priority, as mentioned in the hadith above, is considered overwhelmed.

These three points are excluded from Al-Munawi’s explanation Rahimahullah against the main hadith in this matter. He said,

(If you get out of your house), that is, you want to get out and in a narrative from your home (separation) is a little rak’ah) and you will be worn or published … (and if you enter) for (your home separates two rak’ahs that prevent you from absence or unhappy like greetings)

“If you get out of your manzil (home)” – Meaning: If you intend to get out, and in other history it is said “from bait (home) MU ” – “Then let’s go.” As an organized sunnah Two light rak’ahs. This can be obtained by prayer must and Sunnah Prayer. … “And if you enter your house, then pray two rak’ahs that will protect you from evil when entering it.” … Use of letters Fa ‘ (ف) In both places it shows that this prayer is a sunnah carried out Fawriyah (immediately), namely so that the prayer ‘Urf (Custom) is considered in line with the moment to come. Prayer and reading warnings

Regarding prayers and dhikr that are read specifically in this prayer, we have not found any special prayer and dhikr. Wallahu a’lam.
